Rutherglen

A lot of time in the car today - traffic bad everywhere. I drove to Falkirk to pick up my sister and brother-in-law and take them to Rutherglen near Glasgow to visit my nephew, their youngest son Craig 32.

Sadly C’s partner passed on November 18 while in Reunion, Indian Ocean but due to the French ‘yellow jacket’ disruptions he didn’t get repatriated to Glasgow until December 16 and the funeral isn’t until January 4th. JP was just 38, an amazing, kind, creative and gentle soul. An aggressive cancer, so very sad.

Good to spend time with C.

As we were leaving, an elderly lady was negotiating the steep path with a shopping trolley - my brother-in-law offered a helping hand, a sweet sight on a very grey day.
