PRICKLY CUSTOMERS

Our youngest Canadian granddaughter gave me these cacti and succulents in July and I was terrified I'd kill them before she came back for Christmas.  They survived, but they seem to have been infested by some red hatted creatures with big noses and beards. 

We had a trip to a hardware store with the older one to buy a new kettle and a trip into town to the art store with the younger one, the artist.  A lovely, happy, peaceful day of reconnecting.
