Poggle

The first day of the Christmas holidays for CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops.

Busy!

First, we chilled out with Lego and Boss Baby. MrsCyclops did some googling and made a plan for the day.

So we got the bus up to the National Museum where we enjoyed a variety of exhibits and had a sandwich in the cafe.

Next, we went to see a show called Poggle put on by Barrowland Ballet. It was a production for pre school age, mainly contemporary dance - various instruments played, drumming on unusual objects, a set made of blocks that were moved about. Bubbles. A lot of humour. At one point the children were asked to help to cover a cast member with real fir branches! At the end the children were welcome to climb on the set, which CyclopsJnr enjoyed. We had a great time, it was lovely.

Rainy! Home on the bus. A bit of TV.

Finally, we made a recipe from the Tesco magazine. I guess it was a dark chocolate tiffin Yule log thing. We will see how it turns out after some fridge time. Probably will be a bit too bitter for CyclopsJnr. The grown ups might like it.
