a pastel...

...sunrise

showed up

in the midst of fire & brimstone

the skies & clouds this morning - were burning hot red & orange - mixed with darkest black - it was making for an extremely - dramatic as well as breathtaking sunrise - abba himself, the master painter - was doing an astonishing work for all to see

then suddenly there was a pivotal break - one which lasted but a blink - where these fabulous pastel colors - were splashed onto the skies in reckless abandon - pinks, oranges, yellows, purple and rose - swirling together in a cacophony of joy - one minute dancing together perfectly - the next - gone, replaced once again with the dramatic hot reds - oranges and blacks - it happened so quickly i thought 'what the?'

on the upload - this singular photo is the only one - i managed to capture of that extraordinary change - in color scheme otherwise - i'd be thinking i imagined it - so it only makes sense - this photo is special - calls to me like none of the others did - gave me wonderful joy at - seeing such complexity with the colors - and i knew it would lead to...
