Voyeur

Insects have no idea regarding weed species and endemic species.  As far as they are concerned it's all food, and they don't care where it comes from.

Hence, we have two male Common Brown Butterflies harassing a female Common Brown, who wants to be left alone to her nectar, and a bee casually watching the action.

The food source is a blackberry with which we have a love/hate relationship.  They are most definitely a weed and a very bad one at that; the trouble is that Bandicoots use them as cover to escape the predation of foxes and cats.
