Feeling rather British

My friend gave me an early Christmas present - an electric kettle! I have only ever had the old-fashioned kettle that you heat up on the stove until it whistles. I feel like I’m in an Agatha Christie movie. I’m making tea twice a day just to see the blue lights come on. This is the coolest thing ever! So, as my UK friends say, I’m going to make a cuppa!
