Christmas Mania

I've been trying hard to keep off the feeling of doom that descends on me every December. All was going well until today, when it suddenly hit me right between the eyes. Christmas is less than three weeks away. What possesses people to build a Santa's Grotto at the end of their garden? I feel the start of the inevitable descent into full crimblegrump mode.
