Spring in Winter?

When I pulled this spring out of an old spiral-bound notebook (to recycle the paper), it seemed to offer me a letter G* for my occasional series of alphabet letters. OK, you might need to squint a bit to see it, but it is now a contender for the Silly Saturday challenge, with thanks to admirer for hosting.
