WWT London: Nibble Everything

More touching in large.

*Sigh*
Went to the Wetland Centre at Barnes, and found it hard to get beyond the Emperor geese at the entrance... They're always adorable, and were on especially nibbly form today, nibbling on everything they could find: rope, the air, fingers, toes, laces, fences, paving, my shoe toggles, &c. They often have nibbling fixations (previously a stick and my mother's boots), but nibbling on the air was a new high/low.
Everyone was on good form: the nēnēs were waiting to escape (and one even attacked one of the signs warning visitors of their escaping tendencies), the eiders were dancing, the white-headed ducks were rippling, and the peaceful ducks (marbled and ferruginous) were being pretty peaceful...
I returned to the emperor geese with the macro mounted, for some plumage, preening, posingsleepy preening, pranking, and Pilates close-ups.
Good WWT visit...

Today's bumper crop are here (or right from Emperor goose shaking)
