Old fashioned

Into Kendal this morning to collect an undelivered parcel from the Post Office.  The tobacco and snuff manufactory stands empty in Lowther Street until either smoking comes back into fashion, or more likely someone opens a new business.  I hope they don't get rid of the sign.

First extra:  One of the members of the U3A photography group seemed to know a lot about what goes on in the Town Hall.  This morning I discovered why.

Second extra: The notice by the door  reads "The Old Curiosity Shop is now closed until Friday 9th November"

Third extra: Another of Kendal's Yards, this one is Yard 5, and I thought the faded yellow look suits it.
