Midwinter

We had the shortest day of the year today, December Solstice in Tampere was last night at 00:23. Longer days are on the horizon!!

We have done Christmas preparations all day, mostly cleaned our house. We also had a short visit to Tampere, and I picked up Leevi while J and E did their last Christmas present shoppings.

In the photo we are walking back to the car after having evening tea in the cafe Puisto. Siblings are monkeying around, as they often do :)

I'm happy we'll have white Christmas! We don't have very much snow, but just enough. I saw the first bullfinches on our bird feeder today.
