Quiet day at home. May well have Blipped the above in a previous year... when I'd also left things until late. (I checked - yes, in December 2014!)

Evening wandering, and the last mile of the cycle home, haven't been pleasant over the last couple of weeks. Seems as though this Winter, more locals have taken to using their fires, or wood burning stoves. Local air pollution levels have increased dramatically, in the evenings. Not pleasant, and not what you'd expected in our famed clean air environment. Hope they don't kill off all the local lichen.

Will restrict the (rare) lighting of my own fire to windier nights, when the smoke won't hang low around the houses.
