Put a little love in your heart ...

Somehow the Annie Lennox and Al Green song came to mind when I was uploading the image ... From our home to your home, wishing all on Blip who celebrate it a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, with some extra love for those who are having a hard time, as these days are not easy for many people.

Our tree and the house is now full, all I need to do is the extra grocery shopping very early tomorrow morning, but .... for the very first time the supermarket is going to be open on the 25th and the 26th too, revolutionary for real in The Netherlands, where the supermarkets used to be closed on Sundays and Holidays until a couple of years ago and never ever anyone would have thought the shops would be open on Christmas Day ! The progress of commerce, but it is rather handy ...

Thanks so much for all your Abstract Thursday entries, even when we're all so busy with these upcoming festivities. I can't believe this coming Thursday is already the last one of the year ! I propose the optional theme of 'bling' as in shiny, twinkling or sparkling abstracts to round off the year. The tag will be AT183.

Here's the list of last Thursday's specials:
rmeinz          for a seemingly floating chess/draughts/checkers board abstract
ninniex                 for a very natural sandy mono
PicturePoems     for a rippled reflection on water abstract
Andrew44         for turning grasses in B&W into a blue twirly abstract
Alan_Rodger        for a B&W abstract that could tell countless stories

Thanks so much for all the entries this past year, looking forward to a sparkling end of 2018 :-)

And thank you very much for your kind comments and stars for the Santa hamster :-)
