Judging from the brief perusal of entries so far you've once again explored all sorts of sets. Everyone all set for all the seasonal festivities?

        Channakah was early in December this year. SS Nicholas and Lucia have had their feast days. Our Lady of Guadalupe Mananitas was celebrated by the Spanish speaking community here on the twelfth. The solstice has passed. Many African-Americans will observe Kwanzaa from the 26th.

       So many different festivities to brighten the northern hemisphere winter . . . so many memories of Christmases past.

       Much is being made in the news here of the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo8 mission and the famous earth-rise photograph . . .

       Now that the commercial season is done Christians can get on with celebrating the twelve days of the Christmas season culminating in Epiphany (except if you are of the Orthodox tradition).

       Note to self: Read Dickens's A Christmas Carol  and remember Scrooge's change of heart . . .
