Christmas Eve Frost

Last night was cold and clear, perfect weather for the full moon, and for frost formation.  The sun was still out in the day so we went on the traditional Christmas Eve walk. Around midday the sun was just above the ridge as we got down to our nearest lake. On this rowan tree every twig was coated with frost, illuminated by the low sun.
By the lake's outlet there was open water and beautiful crystals were growing on every blade of grass, See Jan's blip. Nature is wonderful!
Otherwise we took it easy, and had a very good Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas fellow Blippers!
