Footprints

We leave our imprints on the world as we pass through. Like footprints in the sand they may be light, and transitory. But every now and again we have discovered fossilised footprints. Evidence of someone's presence, their mark. We may never know when we make an indelible mark in this world, but we need to continue to make our marks. In the Hebrew texts, we see God's footprints, leaving a path to a stable, in a backwater province, relatively obscure. Yet the prints made by that baby remain today. Happy Christmas!
