Fishing for Breakfast

I think this is a Wandering tattler, a visitor to Queensland. It waited patiently near the shallows before moving like lightning to catch a small fish with that serious-looking beak.

Are there any bird experts out there who can confirm its identity.?

Christmas early morning was spent at Manly beach (which was just about deserted) eating mince pies and drinking coffee from a nearby cafe that opened for a few hours on Christmas morning (hooray!).
