The flickering candle

Feeling very well fed after enjoying a lovely Christmas meal cooked by L. Once we had all moved back to the more comfortable seats the competition was to see who could stay awake the longest ... it certainly wasn't L! Cook's privilege to be the first to succumb to a snooze!

Back home now and ready and waiting for the Christmas episode of 'Call the Midwife'.

Off to Elie tomorrow for a few days ... hope the weather is better in the east than it has been here.
