Christmas 2018

We’ve had a lovely day. Alf was the first up at 7am and he went and woke poppy and they both came into our room to open their stockings. Then downstairs to open their main presents. They were pleased with what they got. Alf had a lovely new coat and 2 pairs of trainers and Poppy’s main present was a watch. D and I took the dogs out ; it was lovely and frosty and very cold. Mum and dad joined us after church and we cracked open a couple of bottles of champagne and FaceTimed D’s sister and family and then my brother. D was in charge of lunch and he did an amazing job as usual.
More present opening after lunch and I was very pleased to get a new camera at last.
We managed to squeeze a bit more food down ourselves this evening then had a couple of games which caused much hilarity, particularly ‘Santa Banta’.
Mum and dad have just gone home and the children have retreated back to their rooms for another year.
