The Guts, The Friars, Aylesford

This is an image of the huge marquee (it supposedly held 900 people when full!) that was supposed to host a pantomime in our village until the end of December before it all went down the tubes last week. I thought this represented a sort of metaphorical abjectness to the whole site. In Christmas terms this was a big failure but the whole site was a bit of a treasure trove for taking images!
After yesterday's full-on foodfest me and bother decided to go for a long walk to get rid of some of the calories. It was very grey today but we enjoyed the walk and just happened to finish (more or less) at the pub for a nice pint. All in all another rather excellent day!
