Raindrops on ......

........ roses catkins!

Had a lovely walk this afternoon ...... we didn't bother to get the car out to drive anywhere .... thought the roads would be busy & didn't fancy 'gridlock'!

We headed up the road to Pioneer & Beech Wood ....... it was lovely ..... the sun was shining & there was barely a breath of wind :-)

The effects of the prolonged rain was visible everywhere .... the pond that had been dry the last time we visited (a couple of weeks ago) was now full!

Spotted these catkins .... complete with droplets ....... noticed when I put it up on the computer that one raindrop had reflections of the branches ...... hope you like my choice :-)

We headed home as the sun was sinking towards the horizon :-)
