Tea and Mince Pie

Mrs F and I were supposed to be away for a Boxing Day festive dinner with M and D, her dad, sister and our granddaughters.  Unfortunately the plans had to be cancelled after my trip to the hospital.  After getting out and getting a little back to normal I decided that we would go up and make a surprise visit in time for the end of their meal.  The girls were so surprised to see Granny and Grandpa that they all ran over for big hugs.  Think M was in shock that we had appeared.  D was in on it since Sunday night and she managed to get us a pot of tea and a couple of mince pies to tide us over till we got home for dinner.
