Day 361/18. Watching for the next catch.

A morning walk along a local river today, and we came across this Heron standing (on one leg) on a fallen tree branch, enjoying the winter sun.
It was aware of us, for sure, but was calmly sitting looking around into the river below, waiting for the next tasty fish to appear.
Usually pretty timid and nervous of humans, this one was not bothered at all.
