Hot Wasp

We are both feeling extra tired tonight.
Plenty of excuses: Christmas, housefull and the thermometer hit 40C.
After the family left this morning I tried to do a bit of gardening but eventually gave up and took the threatened dip in the pool, joined by Mr isbi.
It was certainly very refreshing, and has a very good view.
I even managed to get a bit more weeding done after the cool off. But now I’m heading for an uncharacteristically early night.

Sorry no selfie. Just a macro of a wasp. Not particularly close up but near enough. I think this is a stingy one.
