The journey is the goal

A walk today along the glazed Trans-Nock Wanderweg or Panoramaweg to the White cross. On the way back we found this new cross on a subsidiary summit that expresses the joys of getting out in the hills pretty well I think.

The ridge in the background is the Lattersteig (2264m) and Bretthöhe (2320m), which is a really long day round and a deep valley hike to get back again. Not one for today - we just took the long loop back.
