"Beyond The Color Purple"

From our garden peeps a few delicate flowers sitting on an extremely strong stem.
It is very hardy, hence the strong stem.
The plant grows in a clump, it is rarely without a flower to show us, even if it's just one - and it's called 'Garlic' but - Wild Garlic this one is - or it has a more elegant name - (which we can't find in our garden books - but we've seen in the nurseries) - "Society Garlic"...
But I guess that sounds better than just -"Wild Garlic" - which it shall always be to us... It grows in our garden amongst landscaped rocks, and river-stone and is a very good 'do-er' as we say... Wherever we have shifted to over our 49 years, we have taken some with us, due to it's hardiness as a plant..
