Mallards, you may pass

One of the many things I love about wildlife photography is seizing the moment and accepting the unexpected. At first, as I was gearing up to take this shot, I was mildly irritated by the mallards cruising into my picture. I think they have , in fact, made it a bit more special - does that make sense?
