My topsy-turvy life

By Rathmandu

Recovery position

Nil by mouth again from 2:30am except for a bit of dioralyte they finally came to take Owen for dilatation #8 at around 1 o'clock this afternoon.

An hour and a half later the 3 of us made our way to Recovery to see a slightly subdued but otherwise OK and inquisitive baby. So OK in fact that, after a bit of observation, we were allowed back to the ward rather than HDU.
According to the surgeon there was a definite tightening of the oesophagus but it had come up easily under the balloon. Sounding very similar to last time in fact.
To be at this point after 10 days is certainly progress.
