Late afternoon on Lenzie Moss.

We were visiting friends and had a walk out on the Moss before dinner. It was nice to see them again. They’ve had a few health ups and downs of late; both seemed well today. Their son was home for Christmas - we’d not seen him for a while - it was good to hear his news and views.
The Moss is a local nature reserve of bog, woodland and grassland. Our walk started and finished on slightly muddy paths; for most of the time we followed the wooden walkway across the marshy areas, and kept our feet dry. It was bonny for this time of year.
