Purple monsters

Kohlrabi's were one of the many vegetables we grew last year.



At the height of ripeness, they look like little aliens, all in a row.



These last few weren't harvested on time, so they bolted, and literally burst their seams, looking like a fat Father Christmas in a purple suit.


I'll not clear them up until springtime, or until they've gone rotten, some wild animal or insect might appreciate them.
