Valetta

We took an open top bus sightseeing trip to Valletta today. It’s a charming city built into the rock with many small alleys like this running off the central thoroughfare. We queued to visit the cathedral that was so ornate and ostentatious it felt wrong. Valletta is European City of culture 2018 so there are lots of art spaces and sculptures. It had a great feel, buzzy and vibrant full of tourists and locals.
