SUDDEN HERON

This flew silently past before I could get focused properly.

Earlier in another hide where several were gathered photographing pintails and hoping for a sight of a hen harrier there had been some mansplaining:
Me, catching sight of raptor: "What went over just then?"
Man with unfeasibly long camo-covered camera lens: "A police helicopter."
I didn't mention the raptor which had disappeared by then.
