Poorly sick

Am feeling decidedly unwell having succumbed to the illness that various members of my family have been suffering from over Christmas. Spent the day curled up in the settee reading my library book, a 2006 Margaret Atwood, she never disappoints. I think my New Year’s Eve festivities will be cancelled ☹️
