Austin Texas pops performance

Ella and Louis concert featuring Carmen Bradford on vocals and Bryon Stripling on trumpet and vocals with the Austin Symphony. Fabulous concert featuring many of the Ella Fitzgerald and Satchmo classics, many arrangements by Nelson Riddle, who for years was the primary conductor and arranger for Frank Sinatra. Stripling’s trumpet was almost Chrystal-like in sound, as pure as I have ever heard. His commentary was engaging and entertaining. Both performers veterans of the Count Basie band. Glorious!
