Oliebollen

On New Year's Eve, all Dutch are busy with not only listening to the radio but also with making oliebollen. In this tradition, Bert also used to bake them, but when we came to live in Limburg, he started baking Liege waffles because everybody did it in that time. Traditions are subject to change, so baking waffles seems to have made way for baking oliebollen, in Limburg. Bert has joined this new old tradition and asked me to buy a few.
