Happy New Year!

I went in search of signs of spring to mark the new year and I wasn't disappointed. The witch hazel on Cluny Avenue is just starting to flower and, in the gardens at Falcon Court, hellebores and snowdrops are emerging (see the extra photos).

I've blipped all of these before, but, as I often think, it's the taking of the photo that's the important bit, and today that was about finding positive things to look forward to.
