New year 2019

After a slow start following last night's fun and fizz, we went up to Greenwich today for the classic cars in the market and a walk across the heath, park and along the river.

The picture shows how the old royal naval college greenwich is now dwarfed by the financial district of canary wharf (to the left) I'm sure this is not how Christopher Wren imagined it in the 17th century! The main white building is the Indigo Jones "Queen's house" which was built first.

The power station is one of the oldest still in use in the world.
