The absentee

What a handsome creature. The lovely Raoul is in lively mood today, as well he might be. My pet corn snake is well-fed and warm in his vivarium, happily settled back home after his bizarre absence during almost all of 2018 - over eleven months of it - goodness knows where, but probably under the floor in the foundations of our 1907 house. His sudden reappearance on December 3rd was one of the most surprising events of last year. The only scar he bears from his mystery adventure is that the very tip of his tail is now missing. What a survivor!
