Bush Walk

Today was an experience I do not wish to repeat, a bush walk with my son ended with me collapsing from dehydration in the heat, and being rescued by the para medics and being taken by ambulance to hospital to be checked over!!
My crazy son, with all the best intentions, thought I would be able to cope, but there was little or no shade, and I became more and more distressed until eventually he had to call for help. So embarrassing, but they were just marvellous and gave me the best care ever. The episode was treated as an "incident", fire engines, police and ambulance, and a phone call this evening to check on my welfare.....My son has to work hard to live this down!!
