Merry Christmas!

A quiet day for us, mum came round for the day, E was here with her boyfriend T and dog called Pup Pup. We shared gifts, toasted, laughed over silly jokes in the Christmas crackers and enjoyed a bbq lunch with salads and finishing off with pavlova. Dinner was light finger food for those who wanted it.

It was so lovely to receive a video call from A who was enjoying Christmas in Paris, sipping on mulled wine as we spoke. She said it was cold at 1C but beautiful and looked forward to seeing The Louvre before flying back to London. Life has been busy with her with weekends in Rome and Belgium and a 2 week stint in Singapore which was work related, all leading up to Christmas. I do miss her soooo much, I'm now counting the weeks till she'll be home in February, can't wait!

It was also lovely to receive phone calls and messages from all our family overseas and locally, it was a special day for catching up.

Each year E wears something Christmassy. The first few years it was a t-shirt, last year it was a jumper, this year she went all out with a Christmas dress which I loved! Here she is having a quiet moment with Pup Pup.

I'm a little late but my wishes are sincere, hope you've all had a special kind of day.

Merry Christmas everyone :)
