Moon Goose

We awoke to a beautiful sunrise with blue skies.

Literally thousands of Canada geese flying over us as we enjoyed our morning walk.

I suspect all these birds had hunkered down for the last two days with the stormy weather. They all were ready to move en masse to a new roost in the near by Fern Ridge Wetlands preserve.

I felt a kinship with this lone goose who flew by on his own.

I imagine him listening to a different wing beat on the "airway less traveled".
