Matisse Museum

It was rather an epic trip to Nice this afternoon to visit the Matisse Museum. I  loved how the afternoon sun was shining into the exhibition rooms.  I think Matisse would have enjoyed the light! If you ever go, it's not in the centre of Nice and takes some getting to but it's worth the trip.  I particularly enjoyed seeing some photos of the man himself at work.   I did almost dislodge a priceless sculpture of his daughter's head, but in my defence, the plinth was on the flimsy side if I'm honest.  Less said about that the better!
