Surprise hyacinths

A busy day today 'polyfillering' walls in my daughter's new house and making cups of tea and providing cake!
Came home yesterday to find a beautiful bowl of Hyacinths left by friend. They are opening up well now and I'm waiting to be able to smell them when I walk into the room.
