Bee Story..........Chapter 1

So. The Driver has been mumbling for ages about what he would do in his retirement. One of those mumblings was about bee keeping........

#1 son called his bluff on a recent birthday, presenting the Driver with a smoker similar to the one in my main image.
Today we drove another hour or so south to our friend Dr Pete's home for a lesson in apiary.  And lunch ;-))

My main concentration was to avoid being stung and the day progressed successfully in that regard. I think the Driver's enthusiasm has been piqued somewhat after suiting up, smoking the bees, chewing the honeycomb and receiving a delicious jar of super fresh honey - complete with 2 bees.  (see extras)
