Snowfight

Deborah is collating material for a project on the WWII Women's Land Army. Our friend, Linda, bought some bits and pieces round today which included a number of 1946 'Woman's Illustrated' Magazines. There was a series of 'Kids Can't Resist' ads for Birds Custard - this young lad losing his cap as he's unable to resist a snowball fight on the back of the January 26th edition was my favourite. Cold hands and knees I'll warrant! He'll need his hot custard!
