Sunset

I had two hours driving today, to the eastern edge of Surrey and back. I went for my regular lunch with old colleagues from the WI in Surrey. We swapped news about old friends, and also tried to put the world to rights.
My outward journey was a delight as I drove through the lanes in glorious sunshine. The return journey was even better as there was an incredible sunset, almost 360 degrees and lasting for my whole journey. Fortunately I was able to pull off the road for a photo. Quite breathtaking.
