Missing Tail Fin

Now this is not my normal photographic style, but it was making such a noise that I took a few quick shots.
Technically terrible, at the max of my lens hand held at 1600th of a second.
Does anyone know how there can possibly be a helicopter with a tail fin apparently missing?
I have cropped the image but otherwise it is exactly how I shot it. All 8 images show that there is only the perpendicular wing and 1 side wing. By the laws of aeronautics it shouldn't be in the air !!!
Can someone please let me know what they think? It's driving me crazy.....
