Swan

First off, thank you all so much for the hearts, stars and comments on my 200th blip yesterday! I really appreciate each and every one x

Well today was a bit of a failed day in terms of wildlife. We'd heard about Waxwings in the localish area so went to Salford this morning for a little look. No signs but there were a fair few fieldfare (first time seeing them this season!) but they were spread out and staying quite high in the trees so no chance of any decent photos. It also meant there would have been a good chance the waxwings were hidden in amongst them but we wouldn't have known. It's also not the type of area you want to spend too long in so we moved on after around an hour.
On to Marbury park/Neumanns flash where there are often (apparently!) good starling murmurations. We had a nice walk around but left at 10 to 5 having need no sign of a starling, let alone a murmur... lol
Still, a good walk around the park and flashes and plenty of fresh air! There were a couple of young swans hoping for food on the Mere too, allowing for a nice blip :)
Extra is of some fungi in the woods I thought looked very much like a hammerhead shark!
