2:1

After 7 years of (part-time) study, Annie received her Open University Psychology degree result this morning. There was a nervous 5 minutes as she logged into the website to see what the result was. She was extremely happy to find that she'd got an upper second-class honours (a 2:1). It was a great result especially as it was done alongside a full-time job. Well done Annie.

We're both in London today. It looked slightly dicey this morning as we set off for the train as large flakes of snow were falling but we made it ok. We went out this evening for a meal to celebrate in Canary Wharf.

The blip shows the clocks just outside Canary Wharf. We'd quite fancied making a 2:1 symbolically out of buildings: Canary Wharf or The Shard could have been the 1 but we struggled for a building in the shape of a 2. So instead, you have our celebration of the degree result - a 2:1 in clocks.
