Taking it easy.

Woke up after a good night’s sleep and had a bath - always a comfort to me.
Spoke to Mr P who was waiting for the doctors to do their rounds hoping to find out if and when he could come home.
Got into Leeds to find Mr P had been discharged and was waiting in the ward to be collected.
Our son in law Mike drove us home and Mr P is now in bed sleeping off the anaesthetic.
I’ve just made some soup and have got a fully stocked fridge for the next couple of days so we are bunkering down in the warmth of our own home .
We need Mr P to be well enough to go to a different hospital on Monday where he is treated for his original illness.
Never ends at the moment.

l won’t be counting my steps today. Can you believe l amassed over 25,000 yesterday? A lot of striding out while Mr P was having his op and then the recovery time and other treatment.
Walking is a good stress buster for me.

Thank you so much for all your support it really has helped me, your generosity with stars and hearts has been so generous and quite overwhelming.
Still not up to commenting and l had considered having a sojourn from Blip but l’m hanging in there x
